“UNCLUTTER”
According to Merriam-Webster's Dictionary …
Unclutter is
“to
remove clutter from; make neat and orderly”
Sharing my thoughts …
The summer is coming to a close and the kids are getting ready to go back to
school. It’s the time of year when I unclutter and organize. A few weeks ago,
I dedicated a day to helping my son unclutter and organize his room in
preparation for starting middle school. Though he was not looking forward to
this project; by the end of the day, his room was organized and spacious;
leaving him feeling energized and motivated for the new school year.
Clutter can be tangible
or
intangible. It’s an intrusion on your environment and mind.
It impedes movement and
reduces effectiveness. Commit to uncluttering your space. The time you spend
uncluttering; keeping your space and mind clutter free; will pay you back with
increased energy, creativity, and effectiveness.

Never again clutter your
days or nights with so many menial and unimportant things that you have no time
to accept a real challenge when it comes along. This applies to play as well as
work. A day merely survived is no cause for celebration. You are not here to
fritter away your precious hours when you have the ability to accomplish so much
by making a slight change in your routine. No more busy work. No more hiding
from success. Leave time, leave space, to grow. Now. Now! Not tomorrow!

It’s so important to
unclutter the mind. For me, creativity is greatly impeded just by the chatter
and visual clutter of life. It’s really important to have a space that is
really clear for whatever is emerging to come.
