“STRESS”
According to Merriam-Webster's Dictionary …

is “a
constraining force or influence; a physical, chemical, or emotional factor that
causes bodily or mental tension and may be a factor in disease causation; bodily
or mental tension resulting from factors that tend to alter an existent
equilibrium; strain; pressure”

Do you ever get
“stressed out”? Silly question isn’t
it?! We all
experience
some form of
stress from
time to time.
Typically, our first response to stress is to automatically react without
thought. Some people withdrawal, some seek distractions, some dive straight
into the situation; we all react differently. No one reaction is right or
wrong; but, reacting without thought seldom resolves the stress. Whereas,
identifying the cause and type of stress (physical, mental, emotional) and
understanding your unique style can help you effectively handle stress. Of
course, taking the time to identify what’s going on while you’re in the midst of
a stressful situation is not easy. It takes conscious effort to do this. But
the effort is worth it if you are able to manage, reduce or even eliminate the
stress. How do you handle stress?

differently?
