Ponderings
(August 2008) -
“ADVENTURE”
According to Merriam-Webster's Dictionary …
Adventure
is “an
undertaking usually involving danger and unknown risks; the encountering of
risks; an exciting or remarkable experience; an enterprise involving financial
risk”
Sharing my thoughts …
Whenever I step
into the unknown I can either feel a sense of dread or a sense of adventure.
When I focus on the adventure of the unknown, my creativity is stimulated.
Whereas, when I focus on the fear or dread of the unknown, my creative thinking
shuts down and I become overwhelmed. When I remember to view life as an
adventure I experience serendipity and learning. I can more fully live and
appreciate the adventure. How do you face adventures in your life?
