Ponderings
(October 2008) -
“VOTE”
According to Merriam-Webster's Dictionary …
Vote
is “to
express one's views in response to a poll; to express an opinion: to
choose, endorse, decide the disposition of, defeat, or authorize”
Sharing my thoughts …
Just a few more days before the Presidential election when we can exercise our
right to vote. Typically we associate voting as something that we do every 4
years when we get the chance to cast our vote for who we believe will be the
best U.S. President. Maybe you are someone who always votes at elections and
perhaps you never vote; or so you think! Actually you are voting everyday with
your choices. You may not be formally casting a ballot, but the products and
services you buy cast your vote for specific businesses and their practices.
How you spend your time, energy and resources reflects what and who you vote
for. So enjoy your liberty to vote on November 4; and, remember to keep an
awareness of the votes you make each day by your choices.
