Ponderings (May 2010) - “LAUGH”

According to Merriam-Webster's Dictionary …

Laugh is “to show emotion (as mirth, joy, or scorn) with a chuckle or explosive vocal sound; to find amusement or pleasure in something; to become amused or derisive”

Sharing my thoughts …

We recently got together with some friends and had a blast.  I laughed so hard my sides hurt.  It felt great!  Laughter can fill you with warmth and an expanded sense of being.  Sharing laughter with others strengthens your connection.  In fact, just being around genuine laughter feels wonderful and is infectious.  A good belly laugh is intoxicating, freeing, cleansing and just plain darned good fun!

Questions to ponder …

  1. What makes you laugh?
  2. In the course of a day, how often do you laugh?
  3. What can you do to bring more laughter into your life?
  4. How does it feel to laugh with someone versus laughing at someone?
  5. How do you feel physically, mentally and emotionally when you laugh?
  6. Are you able to laugh at yourself?  If yes, how does it feel?  If not, give it a try.
  7. How often do you laugh at work with employees, co-workers, clients and/or vendors?
  8. When was the last time you laughed until your sides hurt?  What caused you to laugh?

Ponderings challenge …
